Sony develops biggest full-color organic EL display panel

TOKYO, Japan - Sony Corp. has developed the world's largest full-color organic electroluminescence (EL) display panel (Photo), the company says in Tokyo on Feb. 7. Sony plans to begin mass-producing the 13-inch organic EL display panel, which is used for television and computer displays, in 2003.
